This morning it was reported on the Ex WWE Diva page for Chyna that the wrestler has past away. Joan Marie Laurer but better known as her Wrestling name Chyna was 45.

Chyna was known for a lot of things but she gained fame from her wrestling in the WWF (WWE before the World Wildlife Federation didn’t like that people were asking for the Pandas to wrestle each other). Her career started back in 1997 after WWF initially was going to pass on her but the WCW was wanting her talents. The interest from the WCW, during the time where WWF and WCW where constantly battling each other, changed the mind of the WWF and they brought her on board. Chyna’s size and build allowed her to do something that none of the other Divas had ever done, wrestle the guys. She wrestled with and against huge names like Triple-H, Kane, Jeff Jarrett, Chris Jericho and more. She was the only woman to hold the WWF Intercontinental Championship and held the Womans (Divas) Championship belt. Her WWF career came to a close in 2001 with odd circumstances outside of wrestling involving Triple-H her then boyfriend and Stephanie McMahon who later married Triple-H.

After the WWF(WWE) is when she started becoming known for other things. While she did make short stints in the Japanese New Japan Pro wrestling circuit and TNA Wrestling the six pr0n films really brought attention. She even received awards for two of them as ‘Best Selling’ and ‘Best Sex-tape’. She also appeared twice in Playboy magazine once during her WWF wrestling career and once after.

Unfortunately like many who’s fame burned out Chyna fought substance abuse throughout her life.

Her twitter feed and facebook page reported on April 20th 2016 she was found dead at her home in Redondo Beach, California.

RIP Chyna

UPDATE: 4/21 4:50PM EST — WWE has put together a greatest Chyna Moments here.
